... I have been working like a dog

Well, not exactly ! But I think I am on the good way.

Can you see my little mascot sitting on the stair ? It is made by Catherine. She offered me this sweet rabbit for my birthday last March. (Sounds like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland).
And I am really happy with Minst's ceiling lamp. I think it is perfect for the entrance.

OK, so just forget it !!! I changed all my plans and throwed the first try. I decided to construct in hard the house. And here is a sneak peak of the hallway and the first floor.

I want to share with you the latest gifts I was lucky enough to receive.
The very first one comes from a fine and delicate miniaturist : Flora

This highly detailed suitcase is a tribute to the sinking of the Titanic. It belonged to one of the passengers who came to Cherbourg.

The second one is almost a commission I asked Catherine

This lovely painting is something I really wanted ! Actually, the original one (scale 1/1) belongs to my mother and is painted on an ordinary round tin tray. I sent a few pictures to Catherine this summer, then I made the frame.
And, at last, here is what I am working on these days :

Summertime ...

Pascale spoiled me ! Look at those marvelous poppies she made for me !

I am such a lucky girl.
My friend Catherine offered me the two cute teapots made by Dominique Lévy and the tureens are from Elisabeth Causeret.
I won't be home for a while so don't be surprised if I don't post anything prior 3 to 5 weeks. I have tons of projects but my hands are really bad those times ! I think I need a break ...
Meantime, have a wonderful summertime with Porgy and Bess ;-)

The potting table

My gifted, highly talented and dear friend Catherine B. and I decided to play a four hands piece to offer to another great miniaturist : Pascale Garnier who makes so realistic and beautiful flower kits.
So, I made the table and Catherine painted it.
And, here is the result :

You must admit I was not lying when I said Catherine is talented ! She has done a wonderful job. For me, now the table is "alive".
And you know what ? I can't imagine Pascale won't like it !!!
